Book sizes: Hard cover, press printed, photo books are available in three sizes:
• 8.5x11 Portrait
• 11x8.5 Landscape
• 10x10
Cover Styles: Books are available with Standard Covers – solid color faux leather or with Custom Covers – printed using your own images.
Number of pages: Books may contain from a minimum of 16 page sides to a maximum of 50 page sides.
Two paper choices: Our Standard and Linen paper are both available for books. Both papers are 100 pound text weight.
Pricing: Books are priced at $ .50 per page side plus a fixed amount based on the type of cover chosen.
Examples of pricing:
Custom Cover with 16 page sides = $37.99
Standard Cover with 16 page side = $26.99
Perfect Bound: All Hard cover books are perfect bound, not stapled. A flexible adhesive attaches the pages to the cover.
Service Time: Normal service time for Press Printed Books is 3 days.

ROES Usage and Ordering: Each size book is set up as a separate Catalog in the ROES ordering software. Book orders cannot be combined with orders for other products.
Creating a book is a simple process. Select the catalog for the size of book you want to create.
Step 1: Once in the correct catalog, the first step is to choose the cover you want. Click on the Step 1 tab to make that selection.
Step 2: The second step is to add each page in the order you want it to appear in the book. Click on the Step 2 tab and choose a page template.
Drag photos into each picture box in the layout area. Once each page is completed, click Add to Order.
Creating a book is a simple process. Select the catalog for the size of book you want to create.
Step 1: Once in the correct catalog, the first step is to choose the cover you want. Click on the Step 1 tab to make that selection.
Step 2: The second step is to add each page in the order you want it to appear in the book. Click on the Step 2 tab and choose a page template.
Drag photos into each picture box in the layout area. Once each page is completed, click Add to Order.
Custom Covers: We provide two templates to make creating a custom cover simple. One template allows for a single image that spans the front and back cover of the book. The other template allows for a separate image for the front and back cover.
Both templates allow you to enter customized text in up to four locations on the cover. The pager editing tools are enabled for the Custom Cover templates, so you can modify the starting templates to fit your needs. If you wish, you can design your own covers as well. Simply create your artwork the right size (the exact sizes are show in the custom cover templates in the ROES ordering software) and drag you artwork into the appropriate template. Custom covers are laminated with a gloss laminate to protect the cover image.
Standard Covers are available in Black Leatherette and Blue Faux Suede.
Step 3: When all the pages are added, click the Review Order button to begin the order completion process. In the Review Order screen, you may change the order in which pages appear in the book.
To move a page up or down, click on the file names (to the right of the thumbnail image) and drag the page to the desired location.
Additional Notes
Book Layout: Books are laid out with the first page on the right hand side, inside the front cover. Turning to the next set of pages, page two will be on the left with page three facing it on the right. The book will continue in the same pattern, all even numbered pages will be on the left and all odd numbered pages will be on the right.
Page templates: To make it easy to create books, we provide over 65 starting page templates in our ROES ordering software. Each image in a page template will be individually color and density corrected.
Customizing page templates: In the ROES ordering software, the pager editing tools are enabled for all page templates. They make it easy to modify existing templates or create your own.
