ROES is our general purpose ordering tool. It allows access to the full range of products we offer and is entirely free to use. ROES is the only way to order: Press Printed products, Gallery Wraps, Sports Items and Package Prints.

ROES, through its pager function, allows you to edit templates, but the selection of available templates is more limited than Lab Prints.

ROES has no online storefront itself, but has an ordering link to Collages.net. You can set up storefronts for your clients to view and order from and download orders directly into ROES.

To begin ordering using ROES: Sign up as a customer. You'll receive an email with your customer I.D. number and a download link for the ROES software.

Lab Prints is a more focused offering for the wedding photographer. It has excellent capabilities (some of which are not free) for building and editing matted or flush mount albums.

Lab Prints has partnered with a number of album manufactures and offers you the ability to see and use all the album templates they offer.

Lab Prints also has an online store front application (again, for an additional fee) that will allow you to post images and make sales online.

Lab Prints does not support the entire range of products we offer. So even if you are a Lab Prints user, you will still need ROES to order Press Printed products, Gallery Wraps, Sports Items and Package Prints. Some users also prefer ROES for proofing.

Overall Lab Prints has a variety of modules that when combined form a more complete studio management solution than ROES.

ROES is the most widely used ordering software by professional labs and their customers for a number of reasons:

• Secure ordering. Your images and customer information (including any credit card information is packaged together in a encrypted digital file that is sent to our lab as you complete the order.
• ROES is provided to you free of charge. Licensing fees have been paid by Meridian.
